One thing I agree with Negede and it is somehow Nigussie is not sold on it yet is, I believe we should have the boards Bi law ,rules and regulations in place before any project. (for me it is like having a baby without 2 people getting married and the law of marriage between them is not clear.) Is the relationship like roommates, or based on any religious union or secular union?
Negede, for the board members or generally members of the business association to get the business from the (private business organization for profit )has no issue with conflict of interest. Representing a buyer group to help them shop in the open market to all that is available for sale and negotiation on their behalf has no conflict of interest. Conflict of interest arises when the realtor represents the seller and the buyer. Or their is only 1 business or property to make money on and that is the only opportunity for me to make money then yes a potential conflict of interest arises
So I do not want to waste people's time. However if you take Yihun as an insurance agent and if he was going to get an insurance for the corporation by shopping from the 100s of insurance company to select the best for the corporation and explain his pick or if Beth was going to shop around with 100s of mortgage companies to select the best mortgage rates, terms to her own corporation, no conflict of interest. As a matter of fact will do our very best because we are the buyers too
Negede, I have no issue sharing with another Ethiopian realtors( I know you have a realtor you use). I do not even care if the policy of the organization was for us to buy share with any commissions made . I have been in this business for over 30 years and by God's grace i will have few more years to work and provide for my family
